Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1. Organizer means Future Bridge s.r.o., Identification Number 09710833, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, File No. C 340930, with its registered office at Kališnická 10, Praha 3, Czech Republic (“Future Bridge”).
1.2. Participant means any individual or legal entity registering for or participating in an Event.
1.3. Event means any conference, summit, workshop, competition, or professional event organized by Future Bridge.
1.4. Venue means the physical or virtual location where the Event takes place.
2. Registration and Acceptance
2.1. Registration for an Event must be completed through Future Bridge’s official registration channels.
2.2. A registration becomes binding upon written confirmation by Future Bridge or issuance of an invoice.
2.3. By registering for an Event, the Participant confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1. Participation fees must be paid in full within ten (10) business days from the invoice date and, in all cases, prior to the start of the Event.
3.2. Future Bridge reserves the right to deny access to an Event if payment has not been received in full by the applicable deadline.
4. Cancellation, Substitution, and Non-Attendance
4.1. Any cancellation must be submitted in writing.
4.2. A cancellation fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total participation fee applies immediately upon confirmation of registration.
4.3. Failure to attend an Event or failure to make payment does not constitute a valid cancellation and does not entitle the Participant to any refund.
4.4. A substitute participant may attend in place of the originally registered Participant at no additional cost, provided written notice is received no later than seven (7) days prior to the Event start date.
5. Event Cancellation and Force Majeure
5.1. Future Bridge reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify an Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, labor disputes, or security concerns.
5.2. In such cases, the Participant shall receive a credit note equal to the amount paid, redeemable for any Future Bridge Event taking place within twelve (12) months from the date of issuance.
5.3. No additional compensation or liability shall arise from such cancellation, postponement, or modification.
6. Program and Content Changes
6.1. Future Bridge reserves the right to make changes to the Event agenda, schedule, speakers, moderators, topics, or format where necessary.
6.2. Such changes shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
6.3. Participants will be informed of material changes as soon as reasonably practicable.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Future Bridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with participation in an Event.
7.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7.3. Participants are responsible for arranging their own insurance coverage, including travel, health, and personal property insurance where applicable.
8. Data Protection
8.1. Future Bridge processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).
8.2. Personal data provided in connection with the registration for and participation in Events is processed for purposes including event administration, contractual performance, communication, marketing activities, and service improvement, as further described in the Privacy Policy.
8.3. Detailed information regarding the categories of personal data processed, purposes and legal bases of processing, data retention periods, data subject rights, data transfers, and security measures is set out in the Privacy Policy available on Future Bridge’s website.
8.4. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy shall prevail with respect to personal data processing matters.
9. Media, Photography, and Recordings
9.1. Events may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for documentation, marketing, and educational purposes.
9.2. By attending an Event, Participants grant Future Bridge the right to use such images or recordings without additional compensation, unless an objection is submitted in writing prior to the Event.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1. All materials, content, presentations, recordings, and documentation produced or distributed by Future Bridge in connection with an Event remain the intellectual property of Future Bridge or its licensors.
10.2. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit such materials without prior written consent.
11. Conduct
11.1. Participants are expected to behave in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner.
11.2. Future Bridge reserves the right to refuse admission to or remove any Participant whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful, without any obligation to provide a refund or credit.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic.
12.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Prague, Czech Republic.
13. Severability
13.1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
14.1. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Future Bridge and the Participant in relation to the Event and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
14.2. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and event-specific agreements or registration terms, the event-specific terms shall prevail.
